Hey there, Mellionaire friends,

I cannot BELIEVE that it’s nearly summer!  And in this blog, I’ve teamed up with Kirkland’s to kick off an action packed outdoor series that I know you are going to enjoy.  Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some pretty fun ideas for backyard entertaining for both the big AND little kids, so make sure to check back each Friday for some super creative summertime fun!

Now, to kick things off, I thought I’d share my favorite new accents from the Kirkland’s Outdoor Collection to help update our space, and create an inviting backyard oasis.  If you’ve been following me on Instagram for a while, then you know we absolutely LOVE our backyard.  We live on a nature preserve, and the wildlife that we experience each day is nothing short of captivating.  So we spend a LOT of time on our lanai, enjoying mother nature.  The hubs has been wanting to start an herb garden forEVER, and when I saw this Galvanized Metal Ladder Planter, I knew it would be just perfect in our outdoor space.

We customized them just a bit by adding chalkboard stickers that we picked up at our local hobby store to the front of each planter.  It is also recommended that when planting herbs, that they are able to drain.  So you may want to consider drilling a couple of holes in your planters if you plan on using them for herbs like we did.  All in all, they were just the perfect touch.  The kids love being able to water them, and I love the wonderful aromas that they offer while we sit and relax.

You guys also know that I’m obsessed with lanterns.  You see them in almost every room in our home, and I think they add a lovely touch to outdoor spaces as well.  These White Cutout Wave Lanterns added a gentle, rustic and romantic feel to the end tables.  For an added pop of color, I styled the bottom of the tables with these Succulent and Grass Arrangements in Wood Trays to finish off the updated space.  These small additions made a pretty large impact to our outdoor living area, and I can’t wait to share more!

Speaking of more, make sure to check back next week on my YouTube channel!  I’ll be sharing a full outdoor tour, and some more fun ideas to help you get summer kicked off with a bang.

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time…

Love & Peace
